Two national treasures from Tennessee teamed up and announced today something I can’t wait to get my hands on: a Dolly Parton line of Lodge cast iron skillets. As a super fan of both the country music queen and the popular brand of cast iron cookware, this news is music to my ears.

The one-of-a-kind collection features four Lodge cast iron skillets engraved with designs inspired by Dolly’s trademark flair. I am often asked about my favorite cast iron skillet. There are so many brands at vastly different price points—from a Lodge that costs $20 to a fancy schmancy $210 Smithey. I’ve tested a wide range of cast iron skillets as an editor and chef and own a few.
