The special single malt whisky has been crafted by The Macallan and provides hints of dried fruit and spices

Bentley owners like the finer things in life and the British marque has just partnered with a renowned single malt whisky manufacturer to create a special scotch. While a price tag hasn’t been published for the special beverage, one can only imagine it to be extravagantly high. And remember, Scotch Whisky is always spelled without the ‘e’.
The scotch, named ‘The Macallan Horizon,’ is a collaboration between Bentley and renowned whisky maker The Macallan. It comes in a special glass vessel that looks more like an art piece than a bottle and includes an aluminum ribbon that envelops the glass. The bottle is also encased in carbon leather with a chestnut colorway and includes a frame made from recycled copper.
As if that wasn’t enough to make Bentley customers happy, perhaps the fact that each bottle includes an oak wood inlay crafted from one of the six oak casts used to create the whisky will encourage shoppers to pay for it.
As for the whisky itself, it has been crafted by The Macallan Master Whisky Maker, Kirsteen Campbell, from six sherry-seasoned oak casts. It is said to provide notes of dried fruit and spices with aromas of oak and leather.

“We’ve spent years working with The Macallan through our partnership, taking time to craft this incredible first joint product that represents the best of both brands,” Bentley chairman and chief executive Adrian Hallmark said. “Centred on innovative materials throughout that reflect our focus on the future, the end result – both the whisky and the vessel that contains it – are stunning, and represent a new benchmark for design, materials and quality in this space.”
Each 700 ml bottle has an alcohol content of 46.6% but if we had the spare change to buy this special whisky, we wouldn’t dare open it and would simply display it.
