The new Charger tries on some accessories from the good-old Challenger
Dodge’s reinvention of the Charger for 2024 sparked mostly positive reactions from fans, thanks to its modern yet nostalgic design that pays homage to the legendary 1969 Charger. Armed with the knowledge that a slew of special editions and tuner customizations are on the horizon, we decided to envision how the Charger might look in two particularly exciting iterations: a widebody variant and a Demon-inspired package.
In keeping up with the times, Dodge revealed the R/T and Scat Pack trims of the fully electric Charger Daytona. However, an ICE version complete with a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter Hurricane six-cylinder engine was also previewed ahead of its market launch in mid-2025.
While the legendary Hemi V8 has been retired, its spirit of performance lives on. This has sparked speculation about a possible Dodge Charger Demon, drawing inspiration from the Challenger’s fire-breathing namesake.

Our fictional render brings this vision to life by incorporating a pair of dual tailpipes at the back, flanked on the sides by menacing wide-body fender extensions. The Demon emblem lurks on the front fender, while a sharper front splitter slices through the air. To complete the aggressive stance, the high-performance Challenger’s signature 20-inch alloys make their appearance wrapped in grippy 315s. This wider look transforms the Charger – a bodykit we’d love to see in real life.
Our next exploration brings a new series of renderings that that retain the fender extensions, adding an extra 3.5 inches to the muscle car’s wide stance. This configuration is borrowed from the 2019 Dodge Challenger R/T 392 Scat Pack Widebody.
The highlight here is the dark-finished 20-inch forged aluminum wheels, wrapped in 305/35 ZR20 tires. While the diameter matches the largest available wheels in the new Charger, we’ve also digitally lowered the suspension by a few inches for an even more aggressive stance.
The Charger Scat Pack already sported the iconic angry bee emblem on its front fenders, so there was no need to alter that. Instead, we experimented with a variety of colors, including the vibrant Plum Crazy purple, eye-catching Lime Green, and a matte hue slightly darker than the Granite option.

Given that the two-door coupe and the four-door sedan versions of the Dodge Charger share the same wheelbase, length, and roof, the company could easily offer identical body kits and visual packages for both body style variants. The same applies to the EV and ICE versions, which have no major styling differences aside from the grille, hood, and tailpipes.
Tuners Take Notice
As expected, the unveiling of the 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona has already sparked the creativity of independent designers and rendering experts. Among the first to offer a digitally modified version is Abimelec Arellano. His rendition features an exposed carbon fiber finish for the front fenders, mirroring the design on the mirror caps, custom front splitter, and side skirts.
Abimelec opted for a distinct set of wheels for each axle, coupled with sponsor decals that underscore the Charger’s tuning potential. The end result would look fitting as Dom’s new ride in the next film from the Fast And Furious franchise.
