Celebrities from every corner of the entertainment industry pulled no punches in their complete dismantling of Tom Brady during a recent roast.

Netflix on Sunday premiered The Roast of Tom Brady, a live special taped at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California. With jokes touching on subjects like Brady’s highly-publicized divorce, the death of a former teammate, and even human trafficking charges, it was clear nothing was off limits for those participating.

The star of the night was comedian Nikki Glaser, whose set included some brutal jabs at Randy Moss for not winning a championship, Kevin Hart for his string of lackluster Netflix films, and Brady for his wife leaving him.

One of the most jaw-dropping moments of the night came from former New England Patriots receiver Julian Edelman, who claimed he’s often asked about the size of his old teammate Rob Gronkowski’s genitalia. After saying, “It gets the job done,” Edelman mentioned another tight end who “was hung.”

The joke was a reference to Aaron Hernandez, who played for the Patriots before being convicted of murder. In 2017, he was found dead in his cell with his bed sheets tied around his neck.

Edelman also managed to make the notoriously grumpy Bill Belichick laugh when he joked about the coach not being able to find a job after leaving the Patriots.

Not everything was fair game, however. When comedian Jeff Ross — a regular sight at celebrity roasts with seemingly no filter — joked about Patriots owner Robert Kraft being charged for paying for sex at a massage parlor in 2019, Brady sat in his seat with a grin before approaching him. Brady then said in his ear, “Don’t say that shit again,” but the microphone picked it up.
