Taylor Swift is on tour in South America, following a North American leg earlier this year – and she will bring the Eras tour to the UK and Europe later this year.
Swift is performing in London in June and August but, if you didn’t manage to get your hands on some tickets, fear not. You can still get your Swiftie fix by going along to one of the main Taylor-themed events taking place in London.
Taylor-themed karaoke parties
Fancy singing at the top of your lungs to Swift songs, while surrounded by all things pink? Tonight Josephine is where you need to be.
They are holding karaoke parties throughout June, July and August, where you can look forward to lip-sync battles, dance-offs and prizes for best dressed. And, what’s even better is that entry is free, or you can get bottomless drinks throughout the night for £29.
Swiftogeddon: Taylor-themed nightclub
Swiftogeddon, a club night playing non-stop Swift music, is an option for the hardcore Swifties. Attendees tend to dress according to a Taylor Swift theme (think replicas of tour outfits), and it’s a whole night of fun. Venues are across the UK.
Dave Fawbert, who founded the event back in 2019, said, “If you get out the front, sing along, and make yourself look a bit of an idiot, then people feel free to do the same.” Swiftogeddon events tend to sell out quickly, so book early to avoid disappointment.
Ballie Ballerson Taylor Swift brunch
Ballie Ballerson in Shoreditch is promising 90 minutes of bottomless drinks, two hours of ball-pit access and pizza, for £35 per person every Saturday.
Taylor Swift candlelight and tribute concerts
These are concerts that play Swift’s songs in an orchestral style. Some of the events take place in beautiful candlelight venues, such as Southwark Cathedral.
Club de Fromage Eras tour afterparties
Disco night Club de Fromage is dedicating two whole events to Swift, with Eras tour unofficial after parties on June 22 and August 17, both at the O2 Academy, Islington.
