Sony is offering PlayStation Plus members free game downloads and new catalogue games in June, including PS VR2 titles.
The freebies coincide with Sony’s Days of Play sales event, with discounts on consoles, digital games, and accessories.
There’s something for everyone in June, irrespective of your subscription tier, including three monthly games for all members; several game catalogue additions for Extra members; and classic and PS VR2 titles for Premium customers, with a free game trial for a recent fighting game.
PS Plus monthly games for June
The following titles will be available to download and play from June 4 for all PS Plus members with an active subscription:
- SpongeBob Squarepants: The Cosmic Shake
- AEW Fight Forever
- Streets of Rage 4
PS Plus bonus catalogue games for June
Along with the trio of free monthly games, Sony has also revealed a surprise drop of bonus games for PS Plus Extra and Premium members. These will be added to the gaming library from today (May 29) onwards, with more titles to come.
Sony says the full release line-up will be announced soon (probably in mid-June based on past reveals).
The new additions include PS4 and PS5 titles available to players on the Extra and Premium tiers, and some PS2 classics and PS VR2 games limited to Premium members.
The latter will also be able to play WWE 2K24, the latest installment in the long-running wrestling series, from May 29.

The following virtual reality games will come to PS Plus for Premium members on June 6:

- The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners – Chapters 1 & 2
