KINDERHOOK, N.Y. (NEWS10) — Kinderhook’s Carnival and Community Day is set for June 6 through 9. The event takes place in Volunteer Park from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on June 6 and 7, and from noon to 9 p.m. on June 8 and 9.
The Carnival by Gillette Shows features food, games and rides including the Grand Carousel, Swing Carousel, Zero Gravity, Tilt A Whirl, and more. For each day, Unlimited Ride Wristbands are $25. Entry and parking are free. June 8 is Community Day and will also feature vendors, bands, and fireworks sponsored by Claverack Well and Pump Service.
“The Town of Kinderhook is incredibly excited for our upcoming carnival,” said Kinderhook Town Supervisor Tim Ooms. “It looks to be a fantastic event, that will bring joy to residents and visitors alike. We are so happy to offer this event to our community in beautiful Volunteer Park.”
Gillette Shows also brought The Carnival to Viaport Rotterdam this year and it runs until June 2. Gillette Shows will also be in Wappingers Falls from June 6 to 9.
“The Town hopes to make this an annual event, and we hope to see many of you there enjoying the food, vendors, entertainment, and fireworks,” said Ooms.
