Fernbank Museum is premiering a new film called “T.REX” in 3D on June 21.
The film offers a combination of footage including real life scientific expeditions and dinosaur animation using CGI, according to a press release. The film is also family friendly.
“We’re eager to bring the G.O.A.T. — the Greatest Of All Tyrants — back to life in fun and surprising ways,” said Director David Clark in the release. “The film will cover a lot of new territory while delivering on the quintessential promises of a T. rex cinematic experience — the dinky arms, super senses, rex-on-rex fights, pack hunts, baby ‘rexlings’, a climactic face-off with a three horned nemesis, giant pterosaurs, the extinction cataclysm, and much, much more.”
The film will feature a paleontological discovery described as “groundbreaking,” along with other landmark discoveries. The film also hopes to leave guests with a new understanding of the tyrannosaurus rex.
Ticket information can be found online. General admission tickets to Fernbank include three floors of exhibits in the natural history museum, your choice of one film, and access to Fernbank Forest and WildWoods.
