Taking part in this year’s Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Runway Show was a “dream” for model Christen Harper.
When reflecting on Saturday’s big event at the W South Beach in Miami, Harper — who is engaged to Lions quarterback Jared Goff — said she was in awe after completing her fourth show for the iconic brand.
“Walking in the @si_swimsuit show for the 4th time was a dream,” Harper wrote alongside an Instagram video that featured her on the runway modeling a black one-piece.
Goff, who proposed to Harper in June 2022, was among the many who reacted to the post, dropping three heart-eyed emojis in the comments.
“Unreal,” fellow Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model Paige Spiranac commented.
Harper’s Sports Illustrated Swimsuit journey began in 2020 when she entered the publication’s annual Swim Search.
“@si_swimsuit has meant so much more than a magazine to me, it gave me the confidence to embrace who I am and ultimately chase my dreams,” she posted on Instagram at the time. “I was told countless times by agencies that I would be successful if I could just lose a few inches off my waist and that I wouldn’t be taken seriously outside of LA because of the size of my chest. Instead of shrinking myself down into an unrealistic standard for my own body, I chose to have faith that I was enough.
“It took a long time to fully love my body for all that it is, but I am standing here today happier and more confident than ever. I want to inspire other women to feel the same way and to treat their body the way they would a best friend…love her, respect her and ultimately believe in her!”
Harper was later named the co-winner of the 2021 Swim Search and walked in her first Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Runway Show that year.
She was named a co-Rookie of the Year in 2022 with Katie Austin, the daughter of fitness instructor Denise Austin.
Harper’s fourth appearance in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Runway Show comes as her wedding to Goff, 29, nears.
“It’s coming this summer, we’re excited. She’s been doing a great job with it. I’ve been fairly uninvolved… but I’ll give my input when asked,” Goff told The Post in April of wedding planning. “But she’s done a really good job of getting everything ready for the wedding and the day-to-day.”
It’s been quite the offseason for the couple as Goff also agreed to a four-year contract extension with the Lions worth up to $212 million.
He led Detroit to its first NFC North title in 30 years and reached this year’s NFC Championship game, with the Lions losing to the 49ers, 34-31.
Goff was originally traded to the Lions in January 2021 by the Rams, who selected him first overall in 2016.
Los Angeles received Matthew Stafford in the quarterback swap, with the Rams winning the Super Bowl in February 2022.
Upon wrapping the 2023-24 season, Harper gushed on Instagram, “What a season.”
