Fox News Host Sean Hannity absolutely buried ESPN’s Pat McAfee for his widely condemned comments about WNBA star Caitlin Clark.
In a scathing commentary on Hannity Monday night, the Fox News host took on ESPN’s McAfee.
“Pat McAfee, well, he’s facing a backlash, rightly today, for using a descriptor that he used to defend Caitlin Clark,” Hannity said.
Hannity then played the comment from McAfee which has drawn heavy criticism.
“But I would like the media people that continue say, ‘This rookie class, this rookie class, this rookie class,’” McAfee said. “Nah, just call it for what it is. There’s one White bitch for the Indiana team who is a superstar.”
The Fox News host came out of the clip with some pointed shots at McAfee.
“He’s like the Jim Cramer of sports,” Hannity said of McAfee. “Anyway, McAfee has since apologized for his comments on today’s show. He’s still a jackass, and a buffoon and a horrible host.”
A longtime pal of Stephen A. Smith’s — who has reportedly had friction with McAfee — Hannity sided with the former (who made waves of his own during a discussion on the WNBA on Monday).
“McAfee’s biggest problem, I’ll tell you what it is,” Hannity said. “His ego cannot handle living in the shadows of the far more popular, way more talented Stephen A. Smith.”
