MOSCOW, July 10: Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Salem Abdullah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah met on Monday with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on the sideline of GCC-Russia joint ministerial meeting, hosted in Moscow.
The two sides also delved into bilateral relations and ways to boost them in various fields.
The two ministers also discussed the latest developments in the region and international arena, mainly development in Ukraine.
They tackled developments in the Middle East and the Palestinian conflict. Sheikh Salem re-asserted Kuwait’s principal stance and support to international law and UN charter, and renewed Kuwait’s support to efforts exerted to reach a political solution that helps retains stability and security.
Meanwhile, Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Salem Abdullah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, headed on Monday Kuwait’s delegation at the GCC-Russia joint ministerial meeting, hosted by Moscow. The GCC side was headed by Oman Foreign Minister Bader Al-Busaidi and the Russian side was headed by Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov. The meeting highlighted bilateral relations and ways to bolster them in various fields, including discussion on the latest development in the international arena. (KUNA)
