We can truly never get enough of dessert. And when it comes to mini desserts, well, who can resist those? (We sure can’t — mini carrot cakes, mini pancakes, mini pies … we could go on.) As much as we love baking a good dessert, picking up a store-bought version is sometimes the way to go, and Costco just dropped a new “mini” (in Costco-speak) dessert we’re running to snag right now

First spotted by Instagram account @CostcoHotFinds, Costco has a new treat in the bakery section: mini lemon cakes (although, to the naked eye, they look a bit larger than mini!).

Available now in the Costco bakery, these mini lemon cakes come in packs of six, weigh more than three pounds, take two hands to hold, and definitely can’t be eaten in just one bite. Costco might have used the word “mini” loosely when it came to describing these bad boys, but this is still one mini dessert that I’m excited to try. (Remember, this is the same retailer that gives us four-pound pumpkin pies!)

Fans seem to agree, with one noting, “They’re not mini cupcakes, they are extra-large.”

“I brought some home last week. Shared them with my neighbors and daughter-in-law. They’re so good,” another commenter replied. And the engagement keeps coming in. The post is now sitting at over 7,000 likes and over 100 comments, and the consensus is that Costco got it right with this one.

And they’ve been getting it right all season! Be sure to swing by Costco’s bakery on your next trip to grab one of its many summer goodies, like s’mores cookies, lemon meringue cheesecake, and strawberry crumb cake.
