I don’t know if I’d claim anything in the world is perfect, but for me, pizza comes pretty close. Even a slice of plain cheese never fails to hit the spot, though of course, trying out a range of toppings is the best part. Pepperoni, mushrooms, sausage — you can even get more adventurous and cover your pizza in avocado or crab meat if you want. The possibilities really are endless.

You can even dress up your pizza with condiments! I’m sure we’ve all seen it paired with ranch — I’m not totally convinced on that one, but to each their own — but there’s an oil from editor-favorite brand Brightland that will totally elevate your slice. Lots of people have caught onto the hype when it comes to Brightland (the retailer has certainly earned it with their range of delicious vinegars and olive oils), so when they released their Pizza Oil this past spring, it swiftly sold out amid rave reviews. But lucky for those of us who love a good slice, they’ve just restocked their supply, and believe me, you’re going to want to grab it fast!

Boasting an impressive five-star average rating from over 1,000 reviews, Brightland’s Pizza Oil is as tasty as we’ve found all of their other products to be. It’s a jalapeño herb olive oil, made from Arbosana, Arbequina, and Mission olives grown in the retailer’s native state of California. The olives are cold-pressed with raw jalapeño peppers and Italian herbs, including garlic, oregano, and basil. No matter what kind of pizza or toppings you’re working with, it’ll enhance and work with the flavors you already have going on.

Sheela Prakash, our contributing food editor, loved the oil so much that it earned a spot in her weekly Pizza Friday routine, but she also discovered that, beyond what its name suggests, it meshed well with a variety of foods. The oil was the perfect addition when she was roasting vegetables for tacos and frying eggs. “When you think of it as a spicy jalapeño herb olive oil (as it’s described in smaller print on the bottle) rather than simply a pizza oil, you open up a world of possibilities,” Sheela wrote.

You can count on the Pizza Oil selling out just as fast as it did the first go around, so if you’ve been wanting to step up your pizza game, this is your sign to jump on it while it’s still in stock!
