Now in its fifth year, the Aldi Fan Favorites survey is designed to share which Aldi products customers love most. The survey gives consumers an idea of what Aldi fans actually enjoy about the store’s groceries.

The survey lists the 13 most popular Aldi products in the country, and highlights rising grocery trends, which ultimately shapes how fans shop at the popular German-owned grocery store. As a bonus to this year’s list, for the first time, Aldi fans can get the Fan Favorite winners delivered to their home with DoorDash. Shoppers who add three or more of the 2023 Fan Favorite items to their DoorDash cart will get $10 off their order, too.

“Our loyal shoppers are always vocal about their love for Aldi products and over 70,000 of them sang praises in this year’s Fan Favorites survey,” Scott Patton, Aldi’s vice president of national buying, said in a press release. “Their feedback is invaluable, which is why we were excited to introduce new survey categories inspired by our fans’ interests, including ‘TikTok Made Me Buy It’ among others.”

Here’s a breakdown of this year’s Aldi Fan Favorites by category.

As far as what Aldi fans love most about groceries, the survey revealed four different answers.

Secondly, Aldi fans love dairy. Dairy items took up the top spot in five of the 13 categories, with Happy Farms String Cheese taking the top spot in the entire survey.

Lastly, Aldi fans love guac — like, love-love. Not only did the avocado have a huge comeback this year, reclaiming its 2020 ranking as top produce pick, but it also won in the “Lighter Side” category with Simply Nature Avocado Oil.
