Police in Horwich discussed some the issues at a recent Police and Communities Together (PACT) meeting.

A spokesperson for GMP Bolton West said: “The Horwich neighbourhood patrols have been out and about patrolling areas identified as anti-social behaviour hotspots.

“We have recently held PACT meetings in Horwich and Ladybridge and following on from feedback from our communities we have visited areas of concern.

“ASB can be reported online via GMP’s website, by phone on 101 or through the Crimestoppers website.”

As well as the crackdown a host of activities are being put on over the summer as part of the annual campaign to tackle anti-social behaviour and keep young people safe.

The campaign brings together Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS), GMP, Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA), local councils and other key partners.

The campaign focuses on the types of ASB that is typically seen more of during the summer months than winter.

Local authorities are each hosting various activities throughout the summer months, which you can access via the council websites, or via the activities section on the Safe4Summer website.

People can report any instances of ASB using LiveChat or online reporting at www.gmp.police.uk/.
