People urged to watch out for loan fee fraud as summer fuels financial pressures

ust over half (55%) of people are more worried about their finances this summer than last year, according to the City regulator, which is warning of the dangers from fraudsters making fake offers of loans.

A survey commissioned by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) found that nearly a quarter (24%) of those surveyed are turning to credit or loans to help fund their summer spending.
