RIYADH, Aug 24: Kuwait’s Undersecretary of the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Dr. Bader Al-Mutairi, on Thursday, headed the Kuwaiti delegation participating in the 31st Gulf meeting of the permanent committee of specialists in Islamic affairs and endowments held in Riyadh. In a statement, Al-Mutairi confirmed that the meeting aims to enhance joint work and efforts to serve Islamic work and advance Gulf societies. During the meeting, the Kuwaiti delegation presented several working papers on protecting moral, religious and family values in Gulf societies, in coordination with Bahrain.

The papers covered the fields of electronic reading for memorizing the Holy Quran and teaching its recitation, exchange of scientific research and experiences in the endowment field. He stressed the importance of Kuwait’s participation, which reflects the aspiration of Kuwait’s leadership, advancing Islamic work, and adopting distinguished initiatives. Al-Mutairi expressed appreciation for the efforts of the Gulf delegations, which contributed to enriching the meeting with ideas and recommendations that have positive repercussions on Gulf societies in several areas.
