EastEnders viewers convinced Stacey Slater will be forced to reenact an ICONIC scene to MURDER her stalker after discovering his identity

EastEnders viewers have been left convinced that Stacey Slater will follow in cousin Little Mo’s footsteps and recreate an iconic scene in order to murder her stalker.

During Monday’s episode the market stall holder (played by Lacey Turner) finally discovered Theo was the real culprit after months of terror.

And amongst the mayhem of 14-year-old daughter Lily (Lillia Turner) going into labour, Stacey failed to notice the creepy teacher (played by William Ellis) enter through the unlocked back door.

As she rushed to get hot water and towels she found herself face-to-face with her stalker, with viewers convinced she would be forced to bump him off once and for all.

Taking to Twitter fans declared Stacey would surely hit Theo with an iron echoing the very famous 2001 scene where Little Mo (Kacey Ainsworth) struck violent husband Trevor Morgan (Alex Ferns) – after finding herself also trapped in a kitchen.

One said: ‘I hope Stacey pays homage to little Mo and decks Theo with an iron’.

While someone else added: ‘My theory is: Stacey will whack Theo and believe she’s killed him, when when they return to the “body” he’ll have disappeared only to return in a few months time, like Little Mo and Trevor in 2001’.

A third commented: ‘Can Stacey go Little Mo on Theo and deck with with a f****** iron?’.

Another concerned for for Stacey, her daughter Lily and mum Jean (Gillian Wright) who are all in the house wrote: ‘Theo and Stacey is giving me Trevor and Little Mo vibes… Slater ladies are walking into trouble’.

In the now iconic storyline Little Mo left thinking her husband was dead, only to return to find his “body” missing. She was eventually prosecuted and found guilty for attempted murder before being released early.

It comes after EastEnders brought back another dead character for a surprising cameo – their third of the week.

After Ricky Norwood reprised his role as the much-loved Fatboy Chubb and Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) returned from witness protection, Lola Pearce is the next to return to screens.

Lola, played by Danielle Harold, passed away from terminal brain cancer as part of a heartbreaking storyline on the BBC soap in May.

The heartbreaking plot concluded with her husband Jay (Jamie Borthwick) and daughter Lexi (Isabella Brown) hugging Lola after she died in her sleep.

And prior to her death, Lola put things in place that ensured Lexi would continue growing up with her mother still in her life.

During Monday’s episode  Lexi sat down with Ben (Max Bowden) to view a video message from Lola, who made sure to give advice before Lexi’s first day at secondary school.

Lola reminded Lexi to be kind at her new school and to always do her best. She then told her that she’s there every step of the way in spirit, and that she loved her very much.

Lola then finishes the call by blowing a kiss to the camera, with Ben and Lexi doing the same.
