Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner are parting ways.
On 6 September, the former couple posted identical statements on their respective Instagram accounts, confirming that “after four wonderful years of marriage we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage”.

Multiple outlets had confirmed that the Jonas brother has filed for divorce from the Game of Thrones actor. According to People, the filing claims “the marriage between the parties is irretrievably broken”. Reportedly, the couple has a pre-nuptial agreement in place.
The news comes after a weekend of rumours about the couple’s relationship status. While some tabloids reported the split was imminent, Jonas was spotted wearing his wedding ring during a concert in Austin, Texas. Now, however, their split is confirmed.
The two share two daughters together. Their first, Willa, was born in 2020. They welcomed their second child – whose name they have not publicly shared – in 2022.
In 2019, they married at a chateau in Provence, France in a star-studded wedding attended by everyone from Priyanka Chopra to Maisie Williams. Earlier in the year, they also had a smaller wedding in Las Vegas, held hours after the Billboard Music Awards.
The two were first linked in 2016 and got engaged when Turner was 21. “I think once you’ve found the right person, you just know,” she told Rolling Stone in 2019. “I feel like I’m much older a soul than I am in age.”
