Not every Amazon Prime Day deal is actually a deal, but some of them are legit. Like this one: Google’s Pixel Buds A-Series, which were released earlier this year, are currently $59—40% off the regular price of $99, matching their lowest price ever, according to Camelcamelcamel’s price history.
An affordable pair of quality earbuds just got more affordable
The Google Pixel Buds A-Series were released in May, when PCMag gave them an “excellent” review, describing them as an affordable option for Google Assistant fans—and the extra 40% off brings them close to the “budget” price category of earbuds. You can expect clean, balanced audio and a comfortable fit, plus hands-free Google Assistant voice control. Some caveats: According the the reviews, they are a bit lacking if strong bass is your bag, and they lack wireless charging.
Upgrade to the also discounted Google Pixel Buds Pro if you want more features
If you’re willing to spend more for noise-canceling earbuds, consider the Google Pixel Buds Pro, which are also 40% off—$119.99 (was $199.99). This is also the lowest price they have reached since their release last summer, according to Camelcamelcamel’s price history. Keep in mind that if you’re an Android user, you won’t have access to their best sound quality codec, AptX, which is oddly only available for Apple users, per to PCMag. But you’ll still get quality noise-cancelling, powerful bass, and wireless charging.
