Former President Donald Trump got a not-so-warm welcome from one member of the crowd at UFC 295, who flipped Trump a double-barreled bird live on the giant arena screen as he took his seat.
Trump was in attendence Saturday night for an Ultimate Fighting Championship’s mixed martial arts event whose main event featured a title fight between former champion Jiří Procházka and former UFC Middleweight Champion Alex Pereira.
Hours earlier, Trump gave a speech in Claremont, New Hampshire during which he managed to correctly identify Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban — to whom he previously has referred as the “leader of Turkey” — but told the crowd Orban called on President Barack Obama to resign “and be replaced by Trump” several weeks ago — but President Joe Biden is the president.
But his entrance to the UFC event was off to a better start as he walked to his seat flanked by the likes of Kid Rock and Tucker Carlson to a cheering crowd and raucous music.
Trump shot waves to fans as he went to his seat, but one attendee — identified as actress/producer Nia Renee Hill, who is married to comic Bill Burr — was less friendly. A lot less friendly.
As Trump took his seat, with the arena cam trained on him, Hill literally side-eyed Trump and hitr him with two middle fingers.
The moment was flagged by many, including Meidas Touch, who noted this isn’t the first time Trump has gotten this sort of welcome.
In addition to other examples of this sort of reception, Trump’s visit to the Iowa-Iowa State game in September featured middle fingers before and during the game, a “Where’s Melania” banner, jeers, and more.
There was cheering but also multiple videos featuring loud booing and a sea of middle fingers for Trump at that game.
