Aaron Rodgers fans will get an extra weekly dose of the Jets quarterback this season.
During an appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show” — during its ESPN debut Thursday — Rodgers announced he will return to the show for “Aaron Rodgers Tuesdays.”
“I will not be censoring myself so if you gotta go over, watch it at different places, I will be the same old, same old and I look forward to speaking with you all,” Rodgers, 39, said while smiling.
The former MVP added, “I miss my boys.”
Rodgers, who was traded to the Jets in April, had his own segment — “Aaron Rodgers Bookclub” — for three seasons on the show while he was with the Green Bay Packers.
It was also the one platform that Rodgers discussed headlines and rumors about him, his game and personal life — as well as the COVID-19 drama, when he said he was “immunized” against the virus.
McAfee, who wore his signature black tank top, began cheering after announcing Rodgers’ return.
Elsewhere during Rodgers’ brief appearance, he gushed over his time on HBO’s “Hard Knocks,” which followed the Jets through the 2023 preseason.
“I thought we were going to shut [“Hard Knocks”] down and I’m glad they didn’t because I had a great experience with it,” Rodgers said. “The guys had a great time with it too.”
Rodgers laughed when McAfee asked if he had anything cut out of the show before it aired.
“I didn’t cut anything out,” he said. “You heard wrong, which wouldn’t be surprising concerning me.”
Bills star wideout Stefon Diggs, former quarterback Peyton Manning and NFL insider Adam Schefter will appear on “The Pat McAFee Show” during its ESPN premiere episode.
Prior to the premiere, McAfee appeared on Thursday’s installment of “First Take” and teased that his show will bring “good times and good celebrations” to ESPN.
“We will be celebrating sports for two hours here on ESPN and three hours on YouTube and ESPN+,” McAfee said.
He also praised the “First Take” hosts, Stephen A. Smith and Molly Qerim, and added that he and his crew are honored to follow their show in ESPN’s daytime lineup.
“It’s an honor to have you at the network, you’re big time,” Smith said. “I have no doubt that your show is going to be successful.”
Smith announced that McAfee will appear on “First Take” every Tuesday with Shannon Sharpe.
McAfee was in the second year of a four-year, $120 million contract with FanDuel when The Post’s Andrew Marchand reported in May his show was moving to ESPN.
McAfee’s deal with ESPN is for five years and around $85 million.
“Interesting number,” McAfee told The Post when asked about his contract. “I don’t talk about the business side of it all, the actual numbers and such.”
ESPN declined comment on the figures in the deal.
When the news about McAfee’s move to ESPN made waves, he vowed that nothing would change in terms of the content on his show.
