With summer comes the influx of a lot of things: sunshine, spending time outdoors, vacations, and cooking — lots of cooking. It’s the season for gatherings, so whipping up more meals makes total sense. However, summer is also the perfect time to give your house (specifically, your kitchen) a little zhuzh. Lucky for us, editor-favorite cookware brand All-Clad is launching a new enameled cast iron collection that’s sure to help with all of your warm-weather cooking needs, with the added perk of saving up to $40 on them right now. Saving big on chef-quality items and giving your kitchen a major style and function upgrade? Sign us up.

Though we seriously love All-Clad’s tried and true classics, we are consistently amazed at how they continue to one-up themselves with new products. Just last month, the brand released a limited-edition pan that’s also perfect for serving, and last week, they unveiled a four-piece collection consisting of an enameled cast-iron braiser, dutch oven, grill pan, and griddle. They’re all built with 97 percent recycled materials and include wooden trivets for serving, making them even more ideal for summer get-togethers. The Dutch oven and brasier even come with recycled stainless-steel lids, which are extremely light and great for heat retention.

Like regular cast iron, enameled cast iron is fantastic at keeping a consistent temperature while you cook, and while it’s a bit more pricey, it’s far “easier to care for and [doesn’t] require quite as much TLC,” as regular cast iron, according to The Kitchn editor Kelli Foster. “Enameled cast iron pots do not need to be seasoned before using, are not prone to rusting in the same way traditional cast iron is, and get the okay to be washed with soap.” If that sounds like your ideal piece of cookware, read on for our breakdown of each item in the collection — and make sure to snag them while they’re still marked down!
