ctor Angus Cloud had completed three films before his death, with the titles set to be released posthumously in the months ahead.
The 25-year-old was found dead at his mother’s home in Oakland, California, on Sunday.
Cloud was best known for playing drug-dealer Fezco in HBO teen drama Euphoria, and The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that the actor had wrapped three upcoming films on the back of his television success.
The first of these is a Universal monster thriller directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett. The yet to be titled film is due out in April.
His second completed film is Freaky Tales, a drama from Ryan Fleck and Anna Boden, which is now said to be in post production.
The third feature is Lucky Day, a Christmas-set film directed by Dan Brown.
Tributes to Cloud have been shared by his Hollywood co-stars this week. Zendaya, who acted alongside him in Euphoria, wrote on Instagram: “I’m so grateful I got the chance to know him in this life, to call him a brother, to see his warm kind eyes and bright smile, or hear his infectious cackle of a laugh (I’m smiling now just thinking of it).
“I know people use this expression often when talking about folks they love…’they could light up any room they entered’ but boy let me tell you, he was the best at it. I’d like to remember him that way.”
Cloud’s family said he had buried his father just last week – the two were said to be very close.
A family statement said: “It is with the heaviest heart that we had to say goodbye to an incredible human today.
“As an artist, a friend, a brother and a son, Angus was special to all of us in so many ways.”
The statement continued: ‘Last week he buried his father and intensely struggled with this loss.
‘The only comfort we have is knowing Angus is now reunited with his dad, who was his best friend.”
