Barcelona vs Real Madrid LIVE: El Clasico result and final score after Jude Bellingham’s winner

Jude Bellingham scored twice – including a dramatic injury-time winner – as Real Madrid came from behind to beat arch-rivals Barcelona 2-1 on Saturday.

The England midfielder struck a stunning equaliser after 68 minutes at the Lluis Companys Olympic Stadium and then settled his first El Clasico with a close-range volley in the dying moments.

Barcelona had led at the interval through former Manchester City captain Ilkay Gundogan.

Real’s Bellingham-inspired fightback took them back above Girona to the top of LaLiga and left Barca third, four points behind.

Barcelona manager Xavi speaking to DAZN after the game: “We dominated for 60 minutes, but football is this. If you don’t score the second goal, Madrid can do this.

“We needed five or six chances to score one, Madrid had three and took two. Our set-up was good, we had patience and made chances. We deserved the victory, from my point of view. But if you let Madrid off the hook, they can kill you.

“We controlled Real Madrid very well today, they created very little. The equaliser was from outside the area, the second goal came from a rebound, but football is like this. We played a good game today.

“A draw would have felt too little for us. They looked happy with the draw. It is a bad result, but a step forward in how we played.”

Ter Stegen, Barcelona goalkeeper, speaking after the game: “We are feeling disappointed. Madrid never need much to score against you, and they showed that again today.

“We had everything in our favour, but could not maintain it. Bellingham changed the game for Madrid.”
