All three contestants are tuned and feature 737 lb-ft of torque, but one is the clear winner
Many modern-day performance cars feature turbocharging as a method of improving fuel economy without sacrificing power. While they might not sound as good as a naturally-aspirated V8, they benefit from how easily tuners can pull more power out of them. That’s on full display in this race of tuned super saloons.
Right off of the bat, we’ll say that all three of these monsters make the same 737 lb-ft (1,000 Nm) of torque but the other figures are a bit different. The Audi RS6 and the BMW M5 each make 750 hp (559 kW) and the Mercedes E63 S AMG makes 810 hp (604 kW).
Now, we get to see what happens when they drag race, roll race, and test their brakes against one another. Kicking things off, all three cars get a decent launch from a dig but it’s the BMW that runs away as the sole victor. In fact, over all three drag races, it takes the win in commanding fashion. The Audi takes second twice and third once.

Next up, the gents at the wheels go for a pair of half-mile roll races. Once again, the BMW M5 proves that it has the ability to overcome even large initial gaps. In fact, things look pretty rough early on but it manages to not just claw back a win but to do so in commanding high-speed fashion.
What’s wild is that it also proves to be the best at reeling that power and speed in. The trio all manage to smoke the tires on their way back down to 0 mph. The BMW wins though and again, the Audi RS6 takes silver and the AMG gets bronze.
Here’s the thing about races like this though. The truth is that we’re all winners. Having four-door cars that are this kind of fast is something that we can all appreciate. The way that they rocket down the track without much in the way of input from the drivers is all the more impressive.
