he only new rental homes being built as part of the regeneration of King’s Cross have been launched by developer Related Argent with prices starting from £3,045 a month.
The scheme, known as Author King’s Cross, is one of the last elements of the masterplan to be completed after a 20 years transformation of 67 acres of run down largely derelict railway lands to create one of London’s most vibrant quarters.
A total of 182 apartments in three build-to-rent (BtR) blocks on York Way will be ready for tenants to move into later this summer.
The trio of buildings – ranging from three and 16 storeys – surround a landscaped courtyard with each designed by a different practice – David Morley Architects, Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios and Haptic. The development is being delivered in partnership with Saudi investors Olayan.
The furnished one, two and three bedroom apartments will share amenities including a fitness centre, lounges, workspaces, a creche, private dining room. coffee and wine bar and a garden kitchen opening onto the courtyard., private
There is also a 24 hour onsite team led by a general manager to help with residents with services such as laundry and cleaning, as well as deliveries.
