Shania Twain ‘is eyeing up a superstar collaboration with Adele‘, The Sun has reported.
The Canadian pop icon, 58, revealed she is keen to team up with the British singer after the duo met at the Grammy Awards in February.
And the Hello hitmaker, 35, couldn’t be more flattered as she previously admitted to be a huge fan of the queen of country pop.
Adele was left amazed when she found out Shania had secretly attended one of her gigs in Las Vegas, saying she ‘would have self-combusted had I seen it was you’ and added: ‘I adore you’.
The songstress told The Sun her and the Brit sensation would ‘blend beautifully together’ and that she would ‘love to sing with her’.

The country icon didn’t hold back from singing the praises of Adele, saying not only that she is ‘a great singer’ – but also that ‘her own style is unique’ and that she likes ‘her a lot’.
‘She’s a character on stage, too. She’s a fabulous performer,’ she said.
Shania told how the duo had the chance to have a chat for the first time during the Grammys in February, as Adele was sitting nearby and was ‘having a great time’.
‘We chatted about when I was in her audience, and I really loved the show. It was such a beautiful show.’
Earlier this year, the Canadian songstress revealed she was hoping to relocate in the UK, and has been spending a lot of time on the road – just after releasing her latest album Queen Of Me.
The country sensation couldn’t be more ready to kick off the new tour, starting this Thursday in Glasgow – and will run through until November 2023.
But Shania has also revealed there is much more to come, saying she has now enough material ‘to make at least two albums right now’.
‘I’ve got so much music that I wrote over the lockdown periods because I was, out of sheer boredom, needing an outlet for my creativity,’ she revealed.

The You’re Still The One singer has kept fans waiting six years for her latest album, but she also teased she is planning on ‘making a new record as soon as I can’.
Earlier in August, Shania has revealed the strict pre-show routine she adheres to as she celebrates 25 years since her breakthrough album.
The Man I Feel Like A Woman hitmaker appeared on a Friday’s episode of Lorraine, hosted by Christine Lampard as she discussed the ritual she keeps to.
The 57-year-old revealed she doesn’t eat before a show and therefore chooses to skip dinner.
She explained: ‘I don’t eat any solids before the show. It’s about knowing your routine and making sure you don’t need a bathroom break.’
The pop sensation’s breakthrough album Come On Over was released in 1997 and has gone on to sell 40 million copies making it the 15th biggest selling album in the UK of all time.
Shania also opened up about her fitness routine as she confessed when she’s touring, performing is her exercise: ‘With the show its two hours of raised heartrate,’ she explained.
She added that when she isn’t touring she enjoys horse riding.
‘When I’m not on tour I like horse riding, if I’m not riding I’m walking or staying busy.’
To mark the celebratory milestone of her record the star is remastering the original tapes for the first time ever as well as making a hit return to Las Vegas next year for a residency at Planet Hollywood.
Come On Over was certified as both the top-selling country album and the highest-selling album by a female artist of all time.
It’s the biggest selling studio album by an international female artist in the UK and charted for three years including 11 weeks at No. 1 in the UK Albums Charts and 51 weeks in the Top 10.
Speaking about the record, the star said: ‘With Come On Over, it was important for me to give what I thought was the best record of my life, and that is why there’s so many songs on it.
‘I thought, “Let’s just load this up in case there’s not another chance. Let’s not hold anything back.”
There was no point in saving songs for another album or even giving songs to other artists, because I thought this might be my only chance to really make an impact as a follow-up to the prior album, which was already certified Diamond.
‘I would say that Come On Over was so high-pressure for me, because I knew I had more in me than one Diamond album.’
Discussing her wide audience she explained: ‘My audience was broader than the average country genre audience – they were coming from all over the world!
‘This was an album that was really meant to bridge genres, and I wanted to make sure that the fans were getting what they expected from me as a multi-genre artist.

‘This album is me trying to deliver that and bring as many different people together as possible – so imagine how incredible it feels to still have a sense of bringing people together 25 years later? I’m at a great place in my life.’
Among her many hits the album produced her chart topping You’re Still The One, Love Gets Me Every Time, Man! I Feel Like A Woman! and That Don’t Impress Me Much.
The new rendition will include an additional nine tracks featuring live duets with Chris Martin, Elton John, Alison Krauss, and the Backstreet Boys.
