ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — A Capital Region man is set to appear on Season 21 of ABC’s “The Bachelorette.” The 25 suitors were announced on June 3, one of whom is Caleb “Moze” Smith, an algebra teacher from Albany.
Smith is an ex-football player for the XFL. According to a 2023 roster, he played for the Iowa Barnstormers and played four seasons collegiately at Towson University.
“Moze is extremely close to his family and hopes to have a big family of his own someday,” reads his bio on the ABC Entertainment website. “He’s been in long-term relationships before, so he knows he’s a great partner and is always willing to grow and improve when it comes to showing up for the person he loves.”
“The Bachelorette” is a reality television dating show where several suitors vie for the bachelorette’s heart. This season’s “Bachelorette” is Jenn Tran, who first appeared on Joey Graziadei’s season of “The Bachelor.” She’s 26, currently lives in Miami, and is studying to become a physician assistant.
Season 21 of “The Bachelorette” premieres on Monday, July 8 at 8 p.m. on ABC. The episode will be available the next day on Hulu.
