Celebrity Sunglasses at the Wimbledon Men’s Final

Tune in for the game, stay for the sunglasses. Celebrities went all out for the Wimbledon 2023 men’s final on July 16, donning their best shades to complement their chic outfits during the match between Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic. Although impressive in number, no two pairs were the same, serving as a (literal) reflection of the wearer’s personality.

Priyanka Chopra, for instance, stepped out in matrix-esque Victoria Beckham eyewear, matching the green tint of her rectangular glasses to her floral dress. Ariana Grande, on the other hand, went more Ozian with her look, perhaps drawing inspiration from her role in the upcoming “Wicked” film. She watched the game with delicate round emerald lenses from Tiffany & Co., sitting beside Jonathan Bailey and Zawe Ashton, who also wore stylish sunglasses of their own.

Other stars who made sure their eyes were protected included Tessa Thompson, whose abstract black frames served as wearable works of art, and Nick Jonas, who also looked chic in tortoiseshell sunnies that perfectly complemented his brown suit. Even Kate Middleton wore a sophisticated pair of oversize black shades. Ultimately though, it was 8-year-old Princess Charlotte of Wales who really caught our attention, cheering in a pair of muted pink aviators.

We loved to see celebrities branching out with their accessories in the form of eyewear, if only for the duration of a tennis match. Keep scrolling for some of our favorite celebrity shades spotted at Wimbledon, and see why we still can’t pick a favorite.
