Co-op ramps up members-only deals as two-tiered shopping rise continues

he Co-operative Group says it will spend £70 million more deals including a ramping up of member-exclusive price cuts, after slashing debts and losses with the sale of its petrol forecourts to Asda.

The Co-op says it has already spent £20 million on price cuts in its shops, but it will now bring in cuts on 200 more lines of items only for members.
