Mauricio Pochettino has made one change to his Chelsea team to face Luton Town tonight, handing Moises Caicedo his full debut in midfield.
The Blues are unchanged at the back from last week’s trip to West Ham United as we host newly promoted Luton on Friday evening, with Malo Gusto continuing in the absence of injured captain Reece James to make his first start at Stamford Bridge, alongside Axel Disasi, Thiago Silva and Levi Colwill. Robert Sanchez continues between the posts.
Conor Gallagher and Enzo Fernandez also retain their places in midfield, but for the first time are joined by new signing Moises Caicedo, who comes in for the injured Carney Chukwuemeka to make his first start for Chelsea, after coming on for the final 30 minutes at the London Stadium.
The team is otherwise unchanged, with Ben Chilwell and Raheem Sterling on the flanks and Nicolas Jackson leading the attack.
Another summer signing, Diego Moreira, is included among the substitutes for the first time in a competitive fixture.
Our opponents have made two changes from their opening day defeat at Brighton. Former Chelsea player Ross Barkley replaces Pelly Ruddock Mpanzu in midfield to make his Luton debut, while Reece Burke comes in for Mads Andersen in defence.
