Crystal Palace vs Wolverhampton Wanderers
Palace’s great record over Wolves continues, having now won five of their six Premier League meetings, with this latest victory enough to move the Eagles up to seventh heading into the international break. For O’Neil’s side, their worrying start leaves them teetering just two points above the bottom three, a position they will be keen to improve on when they return to action.

The final whistle goes and it is Palace who run out 3-2 winners thanks to Edouard’s double and a goal from England international Eze. Former Celtic striker Edouard put the Eagles ahead when he finished off Mitchell’s fine cross in the 56th minute, but Wolves were level shortly after, Hwang coming off the bench to divert Neto’s free-kick into the back of the net. However, it was Palace who would kick on and win the game, with substitute Mateta setting up Eze to put the hosts back in front before also teeing up Edouard for his second to put the game beyond the visitors’ reach. Cunha did pull a goal back in the dying seconds, but it was too little, too late for Wolves who fall to a third defeat of the season.
