Sure, you might have a Disney+ subscription, but we all know that Disney is playing fast and loose with what they’re putting on that streaming service. If you’re feeling antsy you might not be able to watch your favorite Disney (and select Pixar) films whenever you want, can Disney interest you in a limited edition $1,500 dollar box set?
The Disney Legacy Animated Film Collection “features 100 animated films from Disney, Walt Disney Animation Studios, and Pixar, packaged together in a beautiful hardbound, self-standing three-volume set that unfolds into your own storybook.” Which… bonkers. And slightly hilarious considering how we were all supposed to be moving away from this sort of thing, but this is a collectible, I suppose.
And where will this be available? One place! Walmart.com. Yup. I wish I had a something better for you, dear readers, but according to press release, “a limited number of sets will be available for pre-order only on Walmart.com beginning September 18.”
As if the discs weren’t enough, you will also receive “a collectible crystal Mickey ears hat with exclusive Disney 100 engraving,” which is thrilling for folks who collect wearable animated mouse ears.
