ABU DHABI, 24th August, 2023 (WAM) — Under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council, the 15th edition of the Abu Dhabi World Professional Jiu-Jitsu Championship will take place at Mubadala Arena in Zayed Sports City from 1st-11th November 2023.

The competition is being organised by the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation, in collaboration with Abu Dhabi Jiu-Jitsu Pro, and will feature participation from top professional athletes from around the world.

Abdul Moneim Al Hashemi, Chairman of the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation, President of the Ju-Jitsu Asian Federation, and Senior Vice President of the International Jiu-Jitsu Federation, said, “We extend our gratitude to H.H. Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan for his generous patronage of the 15th edition of the competition, his continuous support for the sport, which is helping it gain popularity around the world, and his directives to further enhance Abu Dhabi’s position as the global capital of Jiu-Jitsu.”

He added, “We look forward to welcoming more than 6,000 male and female competitors at the 15th Abu Dhabi World Professional Jiu-Jitsu Championship. The event has become well-known among jiu-jitsu fans around the world, and the main platform for athletes to improve their global rankings and make their dreams true.”
