Free summer concert lineups around the Capital Region

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — Many cities, towns, and villages across the Capital Region have announced their annual summer concert lineups for 2024. The free concerts usually feature locals and regional artists, but sometimes big names make an appearance.

Here’s where you can enjoy some free music throughout the summer in the Capital Region. More lineups may be added once they are announced.

Albany’s Alive at Five concert series

The lineup for Albany’s 2024 Alive at Five concert series has been announced. The free concert series runs on Thursdays from June 6 to August 1, except July 4, from 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Schenectady’s Harbor Jam concert series

Rivers Casino & Resort in Schenectady has announced the return of its Harbor Jam concerts this summer at the Mohawk Harbor Amphitheater. The concerts will take place on Saturday, July 20, and Sunday, July 21.

The performances will kick off with DJ MixItUp NY on Saturday and DJ Ketchup on Sunday, both starting at 6 p.m. The July 21 concert will end with a special fireworks show. The headliner for Saturday at 7:30 p.m. is Night Fever: A Tribute to the Bee Gees and the headliner on Sunday at 7:30 p.m. will be Hotel California: A Tribute to the Eagles.

Scotia’s Freedom Park concert series

The lineup has been announced for the 2024 Freedom Park summer concert series in Scotia. The free concerts take place on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays (plus one Friday) and start at 7 p.m. unless otherwise noted.
