DUBAI: Pokémon Sleep is celebrating its first year anniversary by collaborating with Tokyo’s Grand Hyatt hotel to introduce Pokémon-themed rooms from July 1 to Sept. 1.
Pokémon Sleep is a sleep tracking application that rewards users with different kinds of Pokémon characters, such as Pikachu or Snorlax, depending on their quality of sleep. The game is available on Android and iOS devices.
Guests will be able to choose between a standard or a special room. Both rooms will be designed after the game’s Greengrass Isle, and will feature green-like carpets, plants, and a small tent.
The rooms will be decorated with a Snorlax plushy and a small Pikachu plushy. Guests will enjoy Pokémon-themed amenities that they can take home, such as a large T-shirt, a mini wellness bag, and a backpack.
The standard room comes with a Snorlax blanket. Guests can enjoy breakfast from the hotel’s French kitchen, which includes Snorlax and Pikachu-themed pancakes.
On the other hand, the special room comes with its own distinct menu, as guests can indulge in a Snorlax Burger, Professor Neroli’s Detox Tea, as well as three types of Pokémon Sleep sweets.
One night in the themed-room costs ¥271,740 ($1745), which can cover two people. Guests might have to pay additional fees.
Reservations are available until August 28.
