Unpaid work
A man was fined after missing his unpaid work appointments.
Liam Jenkinson, 27 of Layton Drive, Kearsley admitted to Wigan and Leigh Magistrates Court that he missed appointments on March 29 and April 16 this year and failed to adequately explain his absences.
He had been ordered to do the work by the same court on February 1 this year.
Jenkinson was ordered to pay £50.
Knife in public
A man was ordered to pay more than £200 after breaching a suspended sentence he was given for having a knife in a public place.
Patrick Price, 20 of Bickershaw Caravan site, Wigan was given the suspended sentence after being caught on Smethurst Lane, Bolton with a knife and axe on May 19 last year.
He admitted to Wigan and Leigh Magistrates Court that he had breached the terms of his suspended sentence on August 3 last year.
Price was ordered to pay £230.
Cannabis
A man was ordered to pay hundreds of pounds after being caught with cannabis in Bolton.
Joshua Jay Gallagher, 32 of Chanters Avenue, Atherton, admitted to Wigan and Leigh Magistrates Court that he had the Class B drugs on him in Bolton on January 9 last year.
He also admitted to using threatening, abusive or insulting words towards a police officer on that same day, changing his plea to guilty having first pleaded not guilty.
Gallagher was ordered to pay a total of £400.
Banned driver
A banned driver has admitted to breaching his ban and driving without insurance.
Bilal Ali Ashraf, 27 of Hyne Avenue, Bradford, pleaded guilty at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates Court to driving a Vauxhall Astra on Burwell Close, Bolton on September 16 2020 while banned from driving.
He also admitted to having no insurance.
Ashraf was ordered to pay £85.
Suspended sentence
A man was ordered to pay up after breaching a suspended sentence handed down for vehicle interference.
Anthony David Lawrence Stocks, 36 of Longfield Road, Deane, admitted to Wigan and Leigh Magistrates Court that he had breached the order, handed down on March 2 this year.
He was given the original sentence after interfering with a Vauxhall Vivara in Bolton on March 31 2019.
Stocks was ordered to pay £50.
