Jack Draper has been selected to join the Lexus GB Davis Cup team as the fifth squad member for the Davis Cup Finals Group Stages at Manchester’s AO Arena from 12-17 September.
This is the second time that Draper has been selected for the team by GB Davis Cup captain and LTA Head of Men’s Tennis, Leon Smith, having also joined the squad for the qualifying tie in Colombia earlier this year.
Draper joins British No.1 Cam Norrie, Dan Evans, Andy Murray and doubles world No.1 Neal Skupski in a strong British side.

Still yet to make his debut for the Brits, Draper will be hoping to become LTA Colour Holder 323 if he features against Australia, France or Switzerland.
Draper comes into the Davis Cup in strong form coming off the back of his best Grand Slam performance at the US Open.
The 21-year-old made the fourth round of a major for the first time in his career, thanks to wins over Radu Albot, world No.17 Hubert Hurkacz and Michael Mmoh, before losing a close four-set battle with eighth seed Andrey Rublev. His results have seen him close in on the top 100 once again.
Having suffered with injury set-backs through much of 2023, the young Brit has shown that he can compete with the best players in the world and could be a key weapon for Smith and his team.
