Swansea striker Joel Piroe is heading to Leeds for a medical after the clubs agreed on a fee around £12million.

The 24-year old has scored 44 goals in the past two seasons for Swansea which has made him a hot property this summer.

The likes of Everton, Leicester City and Southampton have all shown interest in the former Holland U20 international. However, Leeds held key negotiations on Monday and have worked hard to convince the forward of a move to Elland Road.

Leeds intend to add at least four more players before the window closes.

They have made an offer around £5m for Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Nadiem Amiri, enquired about Genk winger Joseph Paintsil and have held talks with Rangers for midfielder Glen Kamara.

Leeds also want to add another full-back.
