Leigh: Drugs and weapons found in Findlay Street raid

Officers raided the house on Findlay Street, Leigh on Wednesday and uncovered around £10,000 worth of Class B drugs.

But they also found several other suspicious items including several that could have been used as weapons.

A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: “Two suspects were arrested at the scene.

“In addition, a number of offensive weapons including a machete, extendable baton and a knuckle duster were recovered, along with other items which will now form part of an ongoing investigation.”
