Linda Evangelista and Kaia Gerber were effortlessly stylish as they led stars at the Steven Meisel X Zara cocktail event in NYC on Friday during New York Fashion Week.
The supermodel icon, 58, and the 22-year-old beauty, helped celebrate the photographer’s latest collaboration with Zara and the special collection that he created for the fashion retailer.
Both Gerber and Evangelista – who recently revealed she was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2018 – also appeared in the campaign for the new line alongside other stars, such as Gigi Hadid and Irina Shayk.
While at the event, the mother of one was effortlessly chic wearing a black, satin dress with a silver-chained belt that wrapped around her waist.
She added a black blazer on top that she chose to leave unfastened and slipped into a pair of black boots for an edgy flare.

Linda chose to not add any flashy pieces of jewelry to allow her outfit to be the main focal point for the evening.
Her makeup was classically done, and comprised of a layer of mascara to her lashes as well as a bold, smoky shadow around her eyes.
A warm blush was added to better accentuate her cheekbones while a darker, nude-colored glossy tint was worn on her lips for a finishing touch.
The daughter of Cindy Crawford also put on a fashionable display and showed off her toned midriff in a black cropped top as well as loose-fitting black trousers.
She layered the outfit with an oversized, black blazer and paused for a memorable photo with Linda – who notably walked the runway with her mother in the past.
Kaia’s brunette locks were parted in the middle, and effortlessly flowed down naturally past her shoulders. Similar to Evangelista, the actress opted to not add any pieces of jewelry to her ensemble.
The pair attended the cocktail event which celebrated the photographer’s latest collection titled, Steven Meisel New York, that will soon become available at the fast-fashion retailer: Zara.
According to W Magazine, the line will contain around 50 pieces with a price range between $28 and $439.

The collection drew inspiration from Meisel’s own personal sense of style, as well as his passion for different eras and his work in the industry over the decades.
The pieces – which also range from jeans to leather items and faux fur – will become available starting September 18. However, a pop-up store in NYC will take place from September 9th-13th, and also in London from September 15th-17th, per the outlet.
Linda starred in the latest Meisel X Zara campaign and notably has worked with the photographer since the late 80s.
Their new book, Linda Evangelista Photographed By Steven Meisel, will officially become available later this month on September 13th. Images in the book will span from their first collaboration in 1987 up through 2011.
Other stars were also in attendance at the cocktail event on Friday, such as Victoria’s Secret model Candice Swanepoel.
The blonde beauty, who recently wowed at the Victoria’s Secret World Tour 2023 event, was spotted wearing a pair of leather pants as well as a short-sleeved, graphic T-shirt.
She slipped into a pair of black boots to complete her stylishly casual look. Her locks were parted in the middle, and cascaded down past her shoulders in light waves.
