NEET UG 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA), the exam conducting body, has announced the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2024 exam date. As per the official notification, the NEET UG exam will be conducted on May 5, 2024; the result for the same will be announced in June. NEET UG, the only exam for MBBS and BDS admission, is regarded as one of the toughest entrance exams in India. Earlier today, the NTA NEET registration form was released at neet.ntaonline.in; the information bulletin is ia available in Hindi as well as English language.

Candidates are required to fill up the NTA NEET UG 2024 application form at neet.ntaonline.in; till now, NTA has not released any statement regarding the NTA NEET registration date and time on its official portal. As per the reports, the last date to submit the NTA NEET UG 2024 application form is March 9, 2024(up to 05:00 PM). General/NRI candidates are required to pay Rs 1700 as an application fee. The entire application process for NEET (UG) – 2024 is online, including uploading of scanned images/documents, payment of fees, and printing of the Confirmation Page, Admit Card, etc.

As per Section 14 of the National Medical Commission Act, 2019, the NEET (UG) has to be conducted as a common and uniform National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test [(NEET (UG)] for admission to undergraduate medical education in all medical institutions. NEET 2024 Notification: How to Fill NTA NEET UG Application Form?

  • Visit the official website of NEET 2024.
  • Look for the link that reads,  “Register For NEET UG 2024.”
  • Register yourself on the portal and fill up the application form.
  • Upload the necessary documents. Upload Scanned Images of the Candidate’s recent Passport size Photograph, Postcard size Photograph, Signature, Left and Righthand Fingers and Thumb impression, Citizenship Certificate (if applicable), and PwBD Certificate (wherever applicable
  • The candidates have to pay the requisite examination fee. The fee can be submitted online only through Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, or UPI. Processing charges and GST as applicable are chargeable to the candidate (in addition to the examination fee) by the concerned Bank/Payment Gateway Integrator
  • Download, save, and print a copy of the Confirmation Page of the Application Form (which would be downloadable only after the successful remittance of the fee) for future reference.

Admissions to all seats of Undergraduate Medical / Dental Courses will be done through NEET (UG) – 2024. The following are the seats available under different quotas:

  • All India Quota Seats
  • State Government Quota Seats
  • Central Institutions/Universities/Deemed UniversitieState/Management/NRI Quota Seats in Private Medical / Dental Colleges or any Private University
  • Central Pool Quota Seats
  • All seats including NRI Quota as well as Management Quota, are in private unaided/aided minority / non-minority medical colleges.
  • AIIMS Institutes across India/JIPMER.
  • The Counselling for successful candidates for Seats under 15% All India Quota and 100% including 85% State quota seats of Central Institutions (ABVIMS & RML Hospital/VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital/ESIC)/ Central Universities (including DU/ BHU /AMU)/ AIIMS/ JIPMER and Deemed Universities, will be conducted by the MCC/DGHS for Undergraduate Medical / Dental Courses. MCC only does the registration for AFMC and forwards the data of registered Candidates to AFMC Authorities for the admission process. DU/BHU and other Universities may use the score for any other relevant courses being offered by them.

Before registering for NEET UG, NEET Aspirants must keep the following things ready.

  • A valid mobile number
  • A valid email ID
  • Scanned Images of the Candidate’s recent Passport size Photograph,
  • Postcard-size Photograph,
  • Signature,
  • Left and Right-hand Fingers and Thumb impression,
  • Category Certificate (if applicable),
  • Citizenship Certificate (if applicable),
  • PwD Certificate (wherever applicable)
  • Class 10 pass certificate
