Own-brand goods help Asda grow revenue by 9.6%

upermarket giant Asda said it had benefited from its own-brand goods as customers tried to find cheaper alternatives during the cost-of-living crisis.

The business reported a 9.6% hike in like-for-like sales in the three months to the end of June, rising to £5.4 billion. The figure excludes the fuel business.
