Jamal Musiala can leave Bayern Munich for free in 2026 as things stand, or a year earlier for a cut fee, with Real Madrid one of the clubs interested in the forward according to MARCA which cited anonymous sources.
Alongside the scorer of a brace in Vinicius Jr. who took home the gong, Musiala had a valid shout for being the MVP in a 2-2, Champions League semifinal first leg draw between the two teams in question on Tuesday evening.
Playing on either wing at different times of the encounter, the 21-year-old made mincemeat of Lucas Vazquez when on the left flank in the second half. and looked dangerous every time he had the ball.
Whether Bayern makes it past Madrid in the Bernabeu next week to advance to a June 1 Wembley final or not, Musiala has already announced himself to the world on the highest of stages and has no end of potential suitors.
Bayern knows this, and has desperately tried but failed to get him to renew his contract while planning to build the next sporting project at the Allianz Arena led by Thomas Tuchel’s successor around the youngster.
This hasn’t gone unnoticed by the Premier

The newspaper writes that it will be very difficult to get Musiala to stay in Munich past 2025, when Bayern would have to accept a reduced fee for him or risk losing their prodigy for nothing at a later date, without renewing his contract.
It suggests that one solution could be to renew with an achievable release clause, or one that can be activated by La Liga and English clubs.
And while Los Blancos might not need Musiala at this exact moment in time, this could change approaching mid-2025 when he would be tied down for just 12 months or a little more.
Around that time is when Madrid should look to land Musiala’s teammate Alphonso Davies for free, in what would be another slap in the face to the Bavarians from president Florentino Perez after doing likewise with David Alaba in recent years and picking Toni Kroos up for a pittance a decade ago.
