Uttar Pradesh School Closing News: In view of cold wave conditions, the district administration in Lucknow announced that all classes up to grade 8 will remain closed till January 10, 2024. Meanwhile, schools for classes 9th to 12th will remain open from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM given the cold weather conditions. Earlier this week, the district administration in Lucknow declared the closure of schools for students of Class 1 to Class 8 till Saturday(January 6).
“The previously declared holidays in council and other schools will remain the same and the following orders are passed for those schools in which holidays have not been declared yet:- Holiday is declared in all government/non-government/private schools up to class 8 till 10.01.2024 (January 10, 2024). The timings of the schools where classes are being conducted for the students of class 9 to class 12 will be kept between 10:00 am to 03:00 pm only,” reads the circular.
Students studying in Classes 9 to 12 are required to continue with their offline classes between 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
