  1. Heavy menstrual bleeding: You will be shocked to know that women bleeding heavily during menses may have increasing chances of anaemia due to the loss of iron-rich blood and may require visiting a gynecologist without any delay.
  2. Fatigue or weakness: Those women experiencing fatigue and weakness need to consult the doctor without any delay as it could point out anaemia.
  3. Dizziness, and headaches: These are some of the other signs of anaemia that shouldn’t be missed by women.
  4. Shortness of breath: When one’s hemoglobin levels are low along with iron deficiency, oxygen levels tend to also get low and one can experience shortness of breath during various activities such as walking.
  5. Rapid or irregular heartbeat: This is often seen in women having anemia. It is better to take note of these symptoms and get a customized treatment plan from the doctor.
    Pale skin: One with this condition may have pale skin.
