House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) needs to bypass controlling Freedom Caucus “extremists” and reach out to other Republicans and “even Democrats.” That’s how he got the deal to avert a government shutdown, and “could be the key to getting desperately needed aid to Ukraine.”
