ABU DHABI: SLRP, a Japanese ramen restaurant by 3Fils, is featuring the ultimate fusion of authentic Japanese cuisine and culinary excellence.
Located on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, SLRP offers an exciting experience curated by Chef Shun Shiroma, known for his Michelin-starred expertise in ramen.
A representative of SLRP told Arab News Japan about the story and challenges of opening the restaurant in Abu Dhabi on Sept. 3.
“The main concept behind SLRP is to bring authentic Japanese ramen to Dubai, offering a unique and high-quality dining experience centered around this beloved Japanese dish,” he said.
“Establishing and opening SLRP in Abu Dhabi came with its fair share of challenges. Firstly, ensuring that we maintain the authenticity of Japanese ramen while using locally sourced ingredients was a priority. We had to work closely with local suppliers to find the right ingredients that meet our quality standards. Additionally, training our kitchen and service staff to deliver an authentic Japanese dining experience required a lot of time and effort. Lastly, creating a menu that caters to the diverse tastes of Dubai’s residents and visitors while staying true to our Japanese roots was a balancing act,” he added.
About the response & feedback from the people who tried Japanese food at SLRP in Abu Dhabi, the representative said: “The response and feedback from people who have tried Japanese food at SLRP in Abu Dhabi have been overwhelmingly positive. Many guests have appreciated the authenticity of our ramen, the attention to detail in our dishes, and the warm ambiance of our restaurant. We’ve received compliments on our rich and flavorful broths, perfectly cooked noodles, and the overall dining experience we offer.”

Regarding SLRP upcoming plans in the near future, the representative said: “In the near future, we plan to expand our menu to include seasonal ramen offerings and perhaps introduce new variations that cater to different dietary preferences. We also have plans to collaborate with local artists and musicians to create unique dining experiences for our guests.”
