Travelodge offers rooms for under £38 to Brits this summer

This comes amid the cost of living crisis which has squeezed the budgets of many UK households over the last couple of years.

For a family of four, a £38 Travelodge room works out at £9.50 per person which is cheaper than a fish supper and juice from the local chippy.

Travelodge has over 500 hotels across the country with 200 of these also featuring on-site restaurants and eateries.

To make even more savings on their summer holidays, Brits can order any main meal plus either a starter or dessert or drink for just £12.75 per person.

There is also an unlimited breakfast that costs just £8.25 per adult which also includes free breakfasts for two children under the age of 15.

For those wanting to go to the bar, Travelodge bars serve a range of cocktails including Espresso Martini, Passionfruit Martini, Mojito and Elderflower Spritz from just £7.25.

As Brits set off on their next staycations, Travelodge shared some of its top UK beachside locations with Bournemouth Rhyl and Scarborough making the brand’s top picks.

Bournemouth Beachfront

According to Travelodge, the brand’s Bournemouth hotel is a short two-minute walk from the town’s famous blue flag beach.

Travelodge also recommended the nearby Hengistbury Head Nature Reserve where visitors can enjoy the local wildlife.

Rhyl Seafront

Every room at the Travelodge location in Rhyl has a sea view with the hotel also being a short stroll from great swimming and kite-flying spots.

If you are travelling with your kids or pooch, it was also recommended that you take a drive to Bodafon Farm Park – though please leash your dog when arriving.

Scarborough St Nicholas

This large Victorian home is a Grade II listed building that has easy access to the nearby cliffs and South Bay Beach.

Nearby Peasholm Park was also praised for its wildlife and great walks while Shuttleworth Gardens was highlighted for its beautifully maintained grounds.
